If you are a newly established business, you must have a CVR no. to get started. In this case, you have to set up your business at www.virk.dk. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Go to www.virk.dk and enter ‘40.001' in the search field
• Select ' Startblanketten - Erhvervstyrelsen'
• Click 'Start selvbetjening' (Start self-service)
• Then you will see a form that you will have to complete manually
• Fill in the form. In Box 13 ‘Supplerende oplysninger’ (additional information) you state that you wish to report income from sharing economy activities
• Send the form to virksomhed@erst.dk

When the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) and  Danish Customs and Tax Administration have processed the registration, a registration certificate stating a CVR no. or an SE no. will be generated.

You can find the certificate in E-tax for businesses under ‘Profil’ (Profile). To access E-tax for businesses, go to www.skat.dk  and log on as a business.

When you have obtained a CVR no. or an SE no., you can register for the obligation to report income from sharing economy activities.
