The Ministry of Taxation hosted an Information Meeting on the Lorry Road Pricing project on June 4th 2012. Some participants raised questions on the role of Sund & Baelt, the Danish state owned company in charge of toll collection on the Storebaelt and Öresund bridges.

In addition the question has been raised directly to the programme team.

The Ministry of Taxation can provide the following information: Sund & Baelt is not a participant in the Lorry Road Pricing project. A decision on the future role of Sund & Baelt in relation to the Danish Lorry Road Pricing Scheme is not residing within the Ministry of Taxation. Ministry of Taxation is observing the principle of equal treatment of all potential bidders and is in this context considering Sund & Baelt a potential bidder or a potential EETS provider.!
